Okay, so the match started off slowly. And then a super-delay superplex that almost backfired on Ryback. Retrieved April 9, Then Shaq walked to the ring. Spielen Sie Jackpot-Spiele | Spinit 12 February Retrieved 27 February The Undertaker defeated Shane McMahon. And everyone was still on board with these three great women facing off for the belt. Owen's rival Sami Zayn took out Owens with a half and half suplex onto a ladder, and was in turn incapacitated by the Miz. I've really loved AJ and Jericho's multi-month feud then short serbische nationalmannschaft and eventual WrestleMania feud. Beste Spielothek in Reitzenstein finden Reigns, Goldberg vs. Undertaker executed a Tombstone Piledriver to win the match. And one of the coolest things to happen to the long-toiling NXT Superstar in his career.
However, it was a Salida del Sol out of nowhere that led to Kalisto getting the upset win here. A few things here. So sorry about that, people who've come from all over the world.
An ocean of hate. But if you were watching the pre-show on USA, it happened during commercial break. This match actually lasted longer than predicted.
And yes, Lana actually did a few moves. Savat kicks and the like. Some quick striking and then a tag out. Brie got the final hot tag, everyone traded finishers, and then it came down to Brie and Naomi.
And a Yes Lock. And a win for Team Total Divas. We wish yo the best. Go have many babies with Bryan. In between matches, Lita came down to ringside to make a major announcement.
The Divas Revolution has led to a re-branding of the entire division. The crowd, while bigger now as more people find their way to floor seats, slowly didn't pop big for this match until it was over a quick superkick pin and win for the Usos and the Dudleys decided to forgo their previous table ban and pull out two tables.
The Usos fought back though - turning the tables har! The crowd really wanted the Dudleys on the other side of this equation.
But - alas - the Usos, in a double leap, splashed down through the Bubba and D-Von, putting them through the wood.
A high energy, really enjoyable ladder match here. From Owens and Zayn squaring off, to Ziggler doling out superkicks, to Stardust's Dusty polkadot attire and ladder - this one delivered the opening match goods.
Ryder gave Miz a huge Macho Man flying elbow drop off a the tallest ladder, Sin Cara did an amazing springboard plancha to the outside after getting knocked off a ladder, and Zayn leapt THROUGH an open ladder to the outside, crashing down on everyone.
There were so many fan-popping spots here. Big frog splashes down on ladders. It all came down to Owens and Zayn in the end.
And just when it seemed like Zayn had it all won, Miz knocked him down and out. Not my first pick, but I kind of respect the hell out of giving Ryder the huge win here.
A guy who only wound up in this match because Neville got hurt. I liked this ending a lot. This was effing great! I've really loved AJ and Jericho's multi-month feud then short non-feud and eventual WrestleMania feud.
I watched Styles walking out the ring tonight, just so damn happy for him. And this match got time, which was good because it really and mostly picked up in the back half.
As most great matches should really. Styles kicking out of the Codebreaker. A ton of reversals and counters, just like you'd expect from two amazing veterans.
Jericho got the pin! The second Mania surprise in a row, in fact. And I applaud the pattern tonight of unexpected wins. I do know that I don't think Styles got "buried" here.
I think WWE knows his immense value and he'll be around for a while. As well as League of Nations' extra man advantage. Still, a very fun match.
And New Day is supremely over. They came down the ramp after emerging from a giant box of Booty-Os, dressed like Vegeta's crew from DBZ, and were treated like damn heroes.
While the League were bragging about their win. That's right, they came out to fight! To clear the ring. Sweet Chin Musics, Sockos, and Stunners for all!
And then, after New Day tried to get the trio to dance with them, a Stunner to Xavier! The under-story to this match was "Will Brock use weapons, or is Brock's Brockness enough?
Dean, however, used whatever he could get his hands on. But it wasn't enough to stop Brock from beating him, in the end, with an F-5 on top of a pile of chairs.
Basically, every time Dean would get the upper hand with his craziness, Brock would be there with a massive suplex. And, as expected, the barbed wire bat and the chainsaw never came into play.
Yes, Dean grabbed both during separate parts of the match, but got put down before he could utilize them. A great, hard-hitting bout.
But not quite a crazy as expected, overall. I kind of expected a bit more. Not a win, but some better hero moments. It could be that they're saving the biggest spots for the two main events later.
So this was a hotly anticipated match back when it was only for the Diva's title. And everyone was still on board with these three great women facing off for the belt.
Investment seemed to be even higher. Best match on the card so far. And in a better place on the show too. This was peak crowd interest.
Most of the match saw The Bellas isolating Paige and preventing her from tagging in AJ — who the Bellas would frequently knock off the ring apron onto the floor — until Paige landed a somersault plancha to both Bellas on the outside.
Paige then ran in with a big boot on Brie, but was soon pushed outside the ring. Outside the ring, Paige pushed Brie into the ring steel steps.
This was AJ's last match of her in-ring career 5 days before her retirement. Rusev dominated the majority of the match and overpowered Cena throughout, but Cena was able to make a comeback.
The end of the match came when Lana climbed onto the ring apron and was accidentally knocked off by Rusev, who then suffered an Attitude Adjustment for Cena's pin and the title.
In the next segment, The Authority Triple H and Stephanie McMahon announced that WrestleMania had set a new Levi's Stadium attendance record of 76, and began to gloat about their accomplishments and Triple H's victory over Sting earlier in the night, which prompted The Rock to enter the ring.
After a verbal exchange, McMahon insulted the Rock and slapped him across the face, taunting that he wouldn't retaliate because he dare not hit a woman.
In the sixth match, The Undertaker faced Bray Wyatt. It was reported that Wyatt legitimately injured his ankle earlier in the day while preparing for the match, resulting in both men working at a slow pace.
While Wyatt largely controlled the offense, Undertaker was able to execute most of his signature moves such as Old School , the big boot , and Snake Eyes.
In the end, Undertaker executed a second Tombstone Piledriver to pick up the win. Within the first minute, Lesnar performed a German suplex and an F-5 , but did not try to pin Reigns.
Lesnar also suffered a minor cut to his face and later on his chin , but went on to dominate the next ten minutes with knee strikes and various suplexes fisherman, German, overhead belly-to-belly, vertical, snap , leading to Lesnar quipping, "Suplex City, bitch!
A turning point came around the minute mark when the duo were outside the ring; Reigns shoved Lesnar into the ring post, causing Lesnar to bleed profusely from the head.
After Lesnar barely avoided being counted out, Reigns performed three Superman punches , then two consecutive spears , but Lesnar kicked out of the pin attempt at two.
Lesnar countered another Superman punch with a fourth F-5, but failed to follow up with a cover. While both men still were down, Seth Rollins ran down to the ring with his Money in the Bank briefcase and cashed in his contract, making the singles match a triple threat match and the first time in history a Money In The Bank contract was cashed in during a match.
Rollins kicked Reigns out of the ring and performed a Curb Stomp on Lesnar. Rollins went for a second Curb Stomp to Lesnar, who countered by lifting Rollins in preparation for an F-5, but Reigns performed a spear on Lesnar, which saved Rollins.
As Lesnar rolled out of the ring, Rollins capitalized with a Curb Stomp to Reigns, pinning him to win the title. Post-match, Rollins ran back up the entrance ramp and celebrated with the world championship title.
WWE also claimed an attendance figure of 76, The event received universal acclaim from fans and critics alike. John Powell of Canadian Online Explorer gave the event a perfect 10 out of 10 star rating, calling it "the best Mania ever", with the main event between Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins rated 8.
Triple H received the highest rating of 9 stars out of 10, and Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt was rated 8 stars out of In his live report from the event, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter described the event as "one of the best shows I've ever seen.
Several great matches, a killer angle and very little that wasn't good". He also praised the involvement of Ronda Rousey.
But it also didn't have anything close to a match of the year or a candidate for best Mania match". Lesnar responded by attacking Rollins, who escaped.
As a result, Lesnar was suspended indefinitely and fined by Stephanie McMahon in storyline. Byron Saxton and Jerry Lawler immediately replaced them in the broken announce table.
Rollins returned later during the show where Randy Orton declared a title shot request due to beating Rollins the night before. Orton and Rollins then had a steel cage match for the title at Extreme Rules , where Rollins retained after interference from Kane.
Due to Rollins not winning cleanly, a fatal four-way match was scheduled for Payback where Roman Reigns , Dean Ambrose and Orton went for the title.
Ambrose and Reigns were given title shots after beating Rollins on consecutive Raw shows. Rollins then defended the title against Ambrose at Elimination Chamber due to Ambrose stealing the title two weeks before the event.
Rollins again retained at Money in the Bank after being demanded by The Authority to win without any form of assistance. The following night on Raw , Brock Lesnar would then return to face Rollins in the main event of Battleground , and their match ended with Lesnar winning by disqualification after interference from The Undertaker.
The injury required surgery and it was estimated it would take Rollins out of action for approximately six to nine months. At the Raw after WrestleMania 31, Bryan defeated Dolph Ziggler for his first successful title defense; however, after the match, Bryan and Ziggler were attacked by Barrett only for Sheamus to return and chase off Barrett before attacking Bryan and Ziggler.
However, he announced that after having undergone an MRI , he would be out for an unknown period of time, and could possibly have to retire; the nature of his injuries were not revealed.
Therefore, he relinquished the Intercontinental Championship. After the match, Naomi attacked Paige, turning heel , and injuring Paige in storyline.
